Katherine Jean Bolduan, also popularly known as Kate Bolduan, is an American journalist. Her most famous role is anchorperson on the CNN's At This Hour morning show. In the past, she was a co-anchor of the CNN weekday morning program New Day and The Situation Room. Bolduan is also part of CNN's prestigious presidential election coverage from 2012. Bolduan also worked as an official correspondent for the congressional office in Washington DC covering the activities of the US House and the senate. As a member of the Capitol Hill Unit Bolduan reported on legislative events and other congressional activities, including negotiations to increase the debt ceiling for federal government as well as the super committee's deliberations. The work she has done for her general assignments included stories about The Christmas Day Bombing, Obamacare's Supreme Court Decision and implementation of the Government's stimulus program in 2009. She was hired by CNN Newsource as National Correspondent in 2007. As the CNN Newsource National Correspondent, she reported breaking news to 800 CNN Newsource partners and provided feature reports.
