Ani Difranco

Angela Maria Ani DiFranco (born Angela Maria Ani DiFranco) is a American and Canadian singer-songwriter. There are more than 20 albums that were released by her. DiFranco has released over 20 albums. Widely considered a feminist icon Grammy award winner Ani DiFranco is the mother of the DIY movement, and was among the first artists to create her own label 1990. DiFranco was a born on the 23rd of September, 1970, in Buffalo New York. Her parents were Elizabeth (Ross), from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and Dante Americo DiFranco. Her father is of Italian heritage and her mother was Montreal-born. Ani DiFranco wrote and sang 32 Flavors. The track was released on her album Not a Pretty Girl which was released in the year 1995. The song is featured on the film's soundtrack the Canadian romantic drama Better Than Chocolate from 1999. In 2013, DiFranco apologized after it was announced that she would be hosting the three-day event in an old Louisiana slave plantation. The workshop was cancelled, yet she refused to express regret.
